April 11, 2024, 7 p.m.

The Midtown Ventura Community Council will hold its virtual July General meeting Thursday, July 9, at 7 p.m.

The guest speaker will be County of Ventura CEO Mike Powers who will provide an update on Covid-19 response efforts. Mr. Powers will take questions after his presentation.Michael Powers web

While the State government issues many mandates, the county has some latitude of adding additional restrictions for the health and safety of residents throughout the cities of the County. With numbers and restrictions changing on a daily basis the Council looks forward to hearing his perspectives.

Also on the agenda, Joe Oftelie, vice president of community development for Warmington Residential, will be presenting a for-sale housing project at 2400 Channel Drive in Midtown Ventura.

The site is currently an old storage area for boats and RV’s, along with other industrial uses, that the property owner would like to make better use of.

Bill McReynolds with Warmington and Nancy Johns, consultant to Warmington, will also be available to answer questions after their presentation.

The virtual meeting will be from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  You must register ahead of time for the meeting to be able to participate by registering here.
