The Midtown Ventura Community Council will hold virtual candidate forums for the Ventura City Council and Ventura Unified School District on Thursday, September 10.

The forums will be moderated by David Maron and take place on the GoToWebinar platform. If you would like to attend one, two or all three virtual forums, advance registration is required for each forum. Potential questions for the candidates can be submitted when registering or on the MVCC website here. Due to the volume of questions, there is no guarantee your question will be selected.

The candidate forums are for the school and City Council districts that fall within the Midtown Ventura Community Council boundaries. The boundary map for the Ventura City Council is available here and the Ventura Unified School District is available here. Election day is November 3.

Please note there is no forum for the Ventura Unified School District 2 as the incumbent is running unopposed.

The number of virtual spaces is limited for each forum. If you are unable to attend, a video will be posted following the forums and on the MVCC’s YouTube page.
