The newest MVCC Newsletter will be available for viewing on the Monday prior to the monthly general membership meeting. This is the Monday before the 2nd Thursday of every month.

The Midtown Ventura Community Council Is looking forward to celebrating community with you. If you’re able, bring a dish to share. Sign up to bring a dish here.
The festivities happen on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. (note: the start time is an hour earlier than our usual meeting time) at Cooper Hall at Grace Church, 65 MacMillan Ave.at Cooper Hall at Grace Church, 65 MacMillan Ave.
This year we aim to make it extra special!
Holiday Sweater Contest … we will have two possibilities to win a gift card from one of our local midtown businesses …. one for the most Festive Holiday Sweater and the other for the Funniest Holiday Sweater.
Silent Auction … we will have a couple of silent auction items to choose from, all donated by Midtown Businesses….wait till you see what we got! Ho Ho Ho.
Live Acoustic Music from guitar player and midtowner Jerry Breiner!!
We also are collecting non-perishable food items for Food Share of Ventura County. There will be a bin at the celebration for you to drop your food donation. If you cannot make the celebration, you can still make a food donation by contacting Patty Overley at and she will arrange the collection before December 19.
We look forward to connecting at our holiday gathering at 6 p.m. on Dec. 11.
